Sorry for the long absence, but our four-year-old newsletter system developed a security bug that affected the entire site.
The problems are now fixed, and we have a better system in place. Soon we will be testing new features, such as segmenting our subscribers into those who want to receive a daily or weekly vocabulary email, or site updates for those already fluent in Tagalog.

March 5, 2010: Kamusta Na?
It’s been six weeks since our last email update, which was to apologize for having to block traffic.
The good news is that the new server seems to be handling the influx of visitors very well. In fact, Tagalog Lang now has 8,000 visitors accessing the site daily with no problems.
The number-one request we’ve received from our newsletter subscribers is a Daily Tagalog word or Weekly Tagalog digest email. We’re working on it.
Your current options:
* Bookmark the main page. The featured words on the right-hand side change almost daily in response to what is being searched on the site.
* Follow @TagalogWords on Twitter, where updates are made regularly, if not daily. https://twitter.com/tagalogwords
* Fan the TagalogLang page on Facebook, which features a new word from time to time. http://facebook.com/tagaloglang
* If you use iGoogle, search for the TagalogLang gadget. It features a different set of three words almost everyday.
* Subscribe to the dictionary feed in your RSS reader to http://feeds.feedburner.com/tagalogwords
And in our continuing search for ad dollars to fund improvements to the site, we are this month offering sitewide ad space for just $500 — it’s a half-banner set to get close to a million views!
If you know of a company or even an individual who has a product, brand or service that would benefit from exposure on the TagalogLang site, email advertise @ tagaloglang.com or visit https://www.tagaloglang.com/advertise
