Sarangani Bay
Sarangani Bay is located on the southern tip of Mindanao in the Philippines.
General Santos City, one of the country’s most important ports, and also the hometown of Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao, is located at the head of the bay.
The province of Sarangani, created in 1992, is named after the bay. A festival known to the locals as Sarbay Fest is held in the area every year in the third week of May. It is possibly the most popular beach event in the southern region of the Philippines.
