SERUM

This English term can be transliterated into Tagalog as sírum.

Serum is the clear, pale-yellow fluid component of blood that remains after blood cells and clotting proteins have been removed through coagulation. It is essentially blood plasma without the clotting factors and contains proteins (except clotting factors), electrolytes, antibodies, antigens, hormones, and other substances.
