Filipino slang for “blather” or “blabber”
Synonyms: yap, yak, gab, chatter, talk a lot
Often seen in the phrases maraming kuda and ang daming kuda, which means to prattle a lot.
Maaaring kasingkahulugan: satsat
May kaugnayang mga salita: masalita, madaldal
Usage example: When singer Lea Salonga’s half-brother was arrested for drug peddling, a few netizens remarked: “Nasaan na ang kuda niya ngayon?” (Where’s her “talk” now?) because previously she was known for posting moralizing harangues on Twitter, but there was not a peep out of her when the arrest was publicized.
