Kene Brian Lazo demonstrated and paraded in the Capitol building on January 6, 2021.
Lazo was wearing a helmet and goggles. He posted on social media that he carried a walis tambo to literally sweep the Capitol floor.
Lazo emigrated from the Philippines with his family when he was around eight years old and became a naturalized citizen within a few years.
A judge sentenced him to 45 days in jail.
