Born in the Philippines on October 15, 1906.
In 1925, Irineo Esperancilla joined the U.S. Navy.
From 1929-1955, he worked in the White House and on presidential yachts as a Navy Steward serving four U.S. Presidents – Hoover, Roosevelt, Truman and Eisenhower.
Irineo Esperancilla was present at some of the important historical events of the 20th century.
The book is authored by his granddaughter Melinda Dart.
