GITULDOK

This is a recently coined word. It is a combination of the words gitna (middle) and tuldok (period).

Gituldok is a punctuation mark that is known in English as a middle dot (·), middot, midpoint or interpunct. It is often used in breaking up the syllables in a word that’s an entry in a dictionary.

For example: pa·ra·í·so

KAHULUGAN SA TAGALOG

gituldók: espesyal na uri ng tuldok na ginagamit sa pagpapantig ng isang entri sa diksiyonaryo
