SABRE

This is not a standard Tagalog word but a coined word meant for humor. Pronounced SAH-breh.

sabre 
= sabaw na libre
= broth that’s free

It means broth that one doesn’t have to pay for.

Hindi kumpleto ang order kung walang sabre.
The order is not complete if there’s no free broth.


For the French or English word that refers to a saber sword, you can use the Spanish-derived espada.
