PARAGAN

Paragan is a boat-shaped horizontal rack or frame that supports percussive instruments.

Paragan is a wooden stand from which to hang percussive instruments like the kulintangan or gabbang.

The word paragan appears in the context of describing musical instruments used in the Sulu Archipelago off the island of Mindanao in the southern part of the Philippines.

The Western counterpart of a paragan would be the frame from which gongs (musical instruments) are suspended.

talungkás: nakasuksok o nakatupi sa loob, gaya ng manggas, laylayan ng palda o pantalon
