  1. Kalatas is also a native word for Paper. It was used on Old Tagalog. So, I assume it would be a nice native word for Paper. Since Papel kinda sounds Paper but changed a lil bit of it.

    1. The native one is Kalangas. Kalatas is a combination of the old tagalog word “Kalangas” that came from malay “Kertas” and Spanish “Cartas”.
