DIPA

The length of a dipá varies from person to person. It’s approximately the distance from your left fingertips to your right fingertips when you stretch your arms out to the side.

dipa: length of both arms stretched out, including the torso

dipa: the span of two extended arms

also sangdipa or sandipa (an arm span)

dumipa: to extend one’s arms out to the sides
(not a common verb)

Another traditional body-based measurement is dangkal, which is the length between the thumb and pinky finger of a wide-open hand.
