TNTs use fake names or buy falsified documents that would enable them to find work.
It’s considered rude (bastos) or intrusive (nakikialam) to ask one’s immigration status because how would the person respond if it turns out they’re in the country illegally? And don’t ask how long the person’s new FOB wife has been living in the country.
