INGREDIENTS FOR PORK KILAWIN
1/4 kg pork meat
1/4 kg pork liver
1 cup water
1/4 cup vinegar
2 tbsp cooking oil
1 tsp minced garlic
1/4 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
2 cups of labanos (radishes), sliced crosswise
1 cup red bell pepper, cut into strips
salt and pepper to taste
HOW TO COOK PORK KILAWIN
1. Slice up the pork meat and cut up the liver into narrow strips.
2. Saute the garlic, onions, tomatoes, pork meat and pork liver.
3. Add the vinegar and water.
4. Bring to a boil.
5. Add the radish pieces.
6. Cook for 5 minutes, then add the strips of bell pepper.
7. Simmer for 3 more minutes.
