Palawan is an island province in the MIMAROPA (Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan) region. It is the largest province in the Philippines in terms of area. The capital is Puerto Princesa City where many of the people speak Tagalog.
