Noypi is a very slangy term for “Filipino.” It comes from the inversion of the two syllables in the word Pinoy, which itself is slang for “Filipino.” Many slang words in the Philippines derive from such an inversion of syllables.
Ano ang natural sa Pinoy?
Natural na magalang, may po at opo. May ate at… “Kuya, bayad po.” Hindi naman magkapatid. Natural na maasikaso sa bisita. “Kain tayo…” Natural ang hilig sa pagkaing terno-terno. Tapsilog, Tosilog, Longsilog… Tapsi, Tosi, Longsi… Basta may si… Cafe Puro, ang kape para sa natural na Noypi.
