Victoria Manalo-Draves was a biracial member of the US Olympic team that competed in London in 1948. She was the first woman of Filipino heritage to represent the United States, and the first woman in Olympic history to win gold medals in both springboard diving and platform diving.
Life magazine named her one of the top two American athletes of the London Olympics.

Arnold Berdon

NEWS: Arnold Berdon was arrested on November 20 (Tuesday) on suspicion of attempted murder. His wife, UFC fighter Rachael Ostovich, had obtained a restraining order against him on Monday, after he allegedly hit her in the face and in the ribs multiple times; the bone of her eyesocket was fractured.
In the restraining order, Ostovich said she had to escape through the balcony of their home after the attack Sunday morning. She claims it was not his first attack; he had also hurt her in May. Berdon will have a court hearing on Wednesday.
Arnold Berdon is an American-born bantamweight mixed martial artist with Filipino roots. His grandparents came to Hawaii to work on the pineapple plantations. He lives in Māʻili, Hawaii.
