The Philippines has over a hundred distinct languages. These are LANGUAGES, not dialects, in the same way that Spanish and French are distinct languages and not dialects.

Tagalog is one of the main languages of the Philippines. It has a few dialects, such as that spoken in Batangas and another in Marinduque.

Another major language of the Philippines is Bicolano. Its dialects include Daragueño, Legazpeño and Albayano.
