There is no banág that’s a commonly used word in the Tagalog language. It is likely a misspelling of the more widely seen word banáag.
There does exist an obscure usage for the word banág, referring to a vine with the scientific name Smilax bracteata. It reportedly has fragrant greenish yellow flowers and black round berries.
