BANAG

bá·nag

There is no banág that’s a commonly used word in the Tagalog language. It is likely a misspelling of the more widely seen word banáag.

There does exist an obscure usage for the word banág, referring to a vine with the scientific name Smilax bracteata. It reportedly has fragrant greenish yellow flowers and black round berries.

banág: makahoy na baging ( ) na may mabango at berdeng dilaw na bulaklak, at may itim at bilugang berry
