ARTILYERO

This is from the Spanish word artillero.

ar·til·yé·ro
gunner, gunman
artillery man

The female equivalent is artilyera, from artillera.

Gunners or artillerymen (artillery persons/people, artillery women) are often soldiers serving in an artillery unit of the army. The artillery unit is in charge of guns, cannons and other weapons that shoot out projectiles.

A possible Tagalog equivalent could be mámamaril (literally, someone using a gun), from the word baril.
